Killer of mom, 2 daughters gets death sentence
Jury doesn't buy defense that he was just drug addict thief and that partner was to blame
NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A Connecticut man was condemned to death Monday for a night of terror inside a suburban home in which a woman was strangled and her two daughters tied to their beds, doused in gasoline and left to die in a fire.
Jurors in New Haven Superior Court voted unanimously to send Steven Hayes to death row after deliberating over the span of four days. The judge will impose the sentence.

He should have gotten the death penalty...I followed this case from the start and my heart breaks for this man and his remaining family members...those beautiful people suffered at the hands of shear evil...god bless that family!!!

Death penalty is not good enough. Drill holes in him and pour acid in the holes. Cut his eyelids off and put him under a sunlamp and then say vengence was mine.
He should be tied to a bed and lit on fire so he can suffer as his victims did.
Too bad we can't execute by the same means that were used to kill the victims!

This person was convicted and now should be executed as the law dictates. He was sick. But, by reading some of the comments on this blog it sounds like we have some sick people here too. What is wrong with our society when evil is so rampid? 3:43 & 4:34 you need help too.
