Well said. Let's hope the Mitchell campaign will respect the wishes of Sam's family and leave them alone. However, I doubt that will happen due to the fact I am hearing very unbecoming stories from people who Mitchell has contacted that are supporting Matt. Seth if you are reading this, you need to understand this is why you aren't getting the support you desire. People despise arrogance and bullying. Clean up you act and tell your campaign to do the same. Matt is running a very honorable campaign and you should take a lesson from him.
Seth will NOT clean up his campaign. Every Assistant State's Attorney in that office despises Stet because of his blatant HISTORY of lies over the past "23 years of experience" he claims he has. He has 23 years experience as a bullsh-ter and liar and EVERYONE knows it - even you Seth. So why all the surprise here that Stet is trying to pull an "October surprise"? Well, he is getting desperate for one thing. The other is he is truly and openly showing his true self.....liar, bullsh-t artist, coniver, shyster, and what I would call a "courtroom terrorist" )always trying to blow up the case instead of truly seeking justice as he claims he is trying to do.
Yeah, Seth, we all know you, pal, and we know the difference between the integrity and unimpeachable values and morals or a Sam Vincent and the sneaky, snake-oil meanness and vinctiveness you possess.
Why in the hell would you want to work as head of an office of 28 in which all 28 people hate you and despise you? Huh? answer that you fool.
Gonna get rid of a few experienced prosecutors and bring in your "own boys"? who the hell would want to work for you? Gonna make the staff straighten out and fly right? Just how are you going to overcome the hate and anger the office feels towards you and HAS for over the "23 years of experience" you claim you have?

You have alienated the other attorneys in town by your begging for $$ and now you & Ms. Wieland use the good name of the Vincents in an attempt to further your campaign. As much as I have to say about Seth Mitchell - well, everyone else has already said it so eloquently! I knew Sam Vincent for 10 years and I KNOW he would NEVER endorse Seth. Seth is the exact opposite of everything Sam stood for and believed in. Seth, you disgust me and are a true embarrassment to the legal community, not only in Wicomico County but everywhere. Go hang your shingle somewhere else!
As a law enforcement officer who worked many years years in investigations I can tell you Seth Mitchell worked hard while a Public Defender. He worked hard at distorting the facts. Hard at attacking hard working police officers when there was obviously no other defense due his clients guilt. I know he has a job to do. He should have been a trier of facts.
Matt you have a great obligation to keep Sam Vincent's vision alive. I must say every time I see one these post it saddens me and reminds me of a great loss.
The silver lining in this cloud is that Matt stepped up and decided to run. There is an honesty and drive that you obviously pocess. I do not see any of the bullshit that Seth has been spewing in you. Stay loyal to yourself and the community and you will have a long and honored career.

What a pleasure it has been getting to know him. He is a quality guy - and honorable - a trait lacking in most politicians these days. BUT - that is the beauty of Matt - he isn't a politician - just a sincere, hardworking guy. He has been EVERYWHERE for the past few weeks meeting as many people as he can.

I have a friend who told me he is actually going to vote for Seth! Of course, my reaction was this - "What in the world for would you vote for this character? His response was that he was a business acquaintance and said he SEEMS to be a nice guy.....HAHA HAHA HAHA. Does he have him fooled or what? Sorry, my vote is going to Matt this coming Tuesday and just hope and pray that Seth is out for good!

Jesus, this Mitchel is smeeling up the whole county. No one knew who he was, now his name is only associated with stupid remarks, lies, crying, and unethical desicions. Not only will this guy loose, but who the heck would hire him to do legal work after this. I think this guy shot himself in the foot by running. You know what theyu say "It is better to be thought of as a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt".
I support Seth Mitchell, who is best qualified to be State's Attorney for Wicomico County.
I also question why police officers want a Chief Prosecutor with very little experience in criminal law.
Is it because they don't want a State's Attorney who will require the police themselves to obey the law in making arrests, gathering evidence and testifying in Court?
Are " law enforcement officers " attacking Seth Mitchell because when they violate the law, Seth Mitchell has taken them to task?
IMO, the best way to fight crime is for representatives of " law and order " to arrest, convict and imprison criminals according to the rules established, by Our Country's Forefathers, in the Constitution.
I am also disturbed that Mr. Maciarello has insinuated that there is an ethical prohibition against Seth Mitchell prosecuting Thomas Leggs. That is either evidence of ignorance, of applicable law, or a blatant untruth.
Sam Vincent never lied, or cheated, to win.
Mr. Clark I have nothing but respect for you. I have faced you numerous times as a detective assigned major cases. You and Seth are polar opposites. I understand your loyality to Mr. Mitchell. Maybe you should have have ran. It might have been a contest.

Lee Clarke just wants to prosecute the Leggs case as reported in the Daily Times. He also can't handle it when someone has an opinion contrary to his. Under his constitution, everything is great as long as you share his opinion. Law enforcement did not attack Seth, they just expressed a preference for Matt. You and Seth's Aunt(ops... Daily Times busted you guys on that one), and the other Mitchell supporters are classless hacks.
