Seems like people are always in a hurry...Its amazing to me the people who think they are above the rules of the road......I had the opportunity to witness a member of The Parsonsburg Volunteer Fire Dept speed past two horse back riders (one with a small child as a passenger). There was an on-coming truck which stopped I am sure because he observed the car speeding past the horses. If the truck would not have stopped the car would have struck one of the horses and riders.....What happened to sharing the roadway with bikes, peds, and horses? Is this how a Fire Dept member is allowed to act? I guess he had no idea what damage a 1000 plus pound animal could do to his vehicle. Does he not respond to emergency calls? I am just in shock.... I have always had good experience with those in the company til now.
