Milford Woman Dead After Crash

Resume: A Milford woman has been killed in a one vehicle crash in Houston.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. yesterday as John E. Pleasanton was operating a 2002 Ford F-150 and was traveling westbound on Williamsville Road. For an unknown reason, Pleasanton’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. It then overturned. A passenger in the vehicle, Susan Fritts, was transported by EMS to Milford Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead from blunt force trauma. A second passenger in the vehicle, Charles Bass, 28, of Milford, was also injured. He was treated and released from the hospital. John Pleasanton was not injured. The crash is still under investigation. Alcohol is a factor in the crash and charges are pending.
