CRIME: 1. Threat of Arson
VICTIM: State of Maryland
Accused: Nathaniel Irving Schneider
W M 21 y.o.a of Berlin, Maryland

BRIEF RESUME: On 8/01/10, at approximately 1800 hrs, Troopers from the Salisbury Barrack met with two complainants who reported that their son had threatened to kill them and burn their house down. According to the complainants the accused had recently been kicked out of the family home for domestic related issues. Over a week long period the accused made numerous threats to his mother that he was going to burn their house down with them in it and kill them and then kill himself. The accused was temporarily living with another family member in Worcester County while he made these threats. Troopers from the Berlin Barrack along with Officers of the Natural Resources Police responded to a residence in Worcester County and located the accused who was hiding in the residence. He was placed under arrest and transported back to the Wicomico County Commissioners office where he was seen and held in default of $50,000.00 bond.
