Salisbury Police Department Press Release

On July 14, 2010 at approximately 11:16 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the four hundred (400) block of Hastings Street for the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival the officers located the below listed suspect standing behind the residence in question. The suspect advised the officers that he had been given permission to enter the residence by the current tenant. The officers made contact with the owner of the property and were advised that there is no current tenant of the property as the property is currently vacant. The suspect was arrested without incident.

ARRESTED: Joey Morris Hutt, 26 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Fourth degree burglary
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

OK in a month there have been 2 shootings and 1 burglary on or around Hastings Street.
