Trooper's Arrest Two Suspects For C.D.S. Violations

LOCATION: Rt. 13 in the area of Zion Road Salisbury Wicomico County, Maryland

BRIEF RESUME:

On 06-05-2010 at approximately 0804 hours, Trooper Wagner of the Salisbury Barrack stopped a vehicle at the above location for a traffic violation. The Trooper noticed several indicators of criminal activity and requested a K-9 for drug scan of the vehicle. A Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office K-9 responded to the scene and a positive alert was indicated for controlled dangerous substances. A probable cause search was initiated and a quantity of marihuana was recovered from vehicle and its occupants. The suspects were placed under arrest and transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center for a hearing in front of a District Court Commissioner.

2. Michael Thomas Mathews w/m age 50 of Salisbury, Maryland
