Micro-Surfacing Will Require Daytime Lane Closures In Sussex County

Beginning Monday, June 7

Bridgeville/Seaford
-- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that a micro-surfacing project will require daytime road closures in Sussex County. The lane closures will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, June 7 and end on Friday, June 11, pending weather.

The following roads will be impacted:

Oak Grove Road between Route 20 and Neals School Road
Wesley Church Road between Atlanta Road and Route 18

Micro-surfacing is a polymer modified cold-mix paving system consisting of a mixture of dense-graded aggregate, asphalt emulsion, water, and mineral fillers. Micro-surfacing is a maintenance treatment and very cost-effective.
