I found it kinda funny that he wants "to bring the sheriff's department into the 21st century" while standing next to a 70's police car.

WOW he was part of the Bush security detail. He and 1,000.00 other officers from throuh out this country. All you had to do is volunteer and have your agency pay for your lodging and attend the secret service class and your part of the security detail. And by the way Bobby remember standing along the parade route doing crowd control is a very small part of the National Law Enforcement Protection Detail Team.And all we had to do is order a nice gold badge for $70.00. And BAM your part of Bush"s security deatil give me a break. You should be glad i live in Wicomico County because; you wouldn't get my vote.

i've read bobby's profile and although i have no personal interaction with him i can see that he wants to help improve the sheriffs office. Everyone can agree there is always room for improvement in any agency and his ideas may just be what worcester needs. all those who are bad mouthing him need to look at themselves instead of bashing others. As far as reggie he's been out of the game far too long and was only a road cop for three years, so how does he even have the street expierence to know what is best for the county.
Im not that sure about all who are running but as far as I can tell Mr Brittingham seems to be the only one stepping out and doing anything... That’s more then what I have can say or have heard from the other candidates. I have live in Worcester for almost 50 years and I can say honestly Brittingham has my vote. Until someone can make a argument against his politics and not him personally. It seems to me that some people are jealous or scared of change!
I think Brittingham has some good ideas... is there anyone else that has ideas or is brittingham the only canidate? He has my vote!
I think it is really very childish for all of the name calling like douchbag and turkey...somebody that does that has no respect for anybody. It truly shows true ignorance. Everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves....so I believe if someone can't say something nice don't respond at all!!!
Some of the issues that concern me the most about Brittingham are as follows: He is quick to point out suppossed problems within the agency, however his only solution is to better utilize "specific" grants? Both of his grant references are either misnamed or contain misinformation which show that he does not understand how they operate. Brittingham has also been seen campaigning while on duty (a big NO NO) and wants to be placed in charge of a MILLION DOLLAR budget. He has little to no training on accounting and has had problems with his own personal finances. Brittingham also makes the claim that the Sheriff's Office has NO contact with the public. Well, if he is a road supervisor for so many years, why has he allowed this situation to develop? Does he not have the initiative to implement some of his ideas? Lastly, the first few versions of his website contained so many spelling and gramatical errors, I doubt his ability to interact with County Officials in a professional manner for the best of the department. I am also concerned that he has seen fit to display his "signs" in the yards of criminals. True, votes will get you elected, but do you want your votes comming from crooks?
I think that Some people need to leave their personal vendettas out of this and talk about the facts. I unfortunately suspect some of the following blogger’s and they have no room to talk… Really they have there own personal problems. As far as Brittingham, he has never, as far as I seen or heard, ever campaigned on duty. Ever. So lets stop the name calling and maybe even discuss some of the other candidates that are less qualified and have less experience. Brittinghams is a decorated road officer that has served his country and Worcester county for over 30 years. Grow up to those that Gossip!

It's amazing...we have other candidates running and truthfully not neither one of them are perfect; everyone has said or done things in their lives that were always of the best decision. So I believe all of the little childish petty stuff needs to go and everyone needs to dwell on who is the best man for the position. Remember there was only one perfect person on this earth and he is now reigning in heaven!!!! So think about that before you open your mouth with negative comments.
