Come out and support the West Salisbury Challengers at Applebee's in Salisbury on May 22 from 8:00 - 10:00 am. We will be having an Applebee's Flapjack Fundraiser to help with the costs of uniforms, equipment, and trips/events such as the World Challenger Jamboree, Wish a Fish, and the end of season team picnic.We will also be having basket raffles, a bake sale, and a 50/50. Tickets can be purchases at the event for $6In case you don't know, The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 5-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide. Today more than 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide. The West Salisbury Challengers are associated with the West Salisbury Little League and has children from Wicomico and Sussex counties.
