My question to you today Joe is,
How can Obama not be a terrorist or communist?
He now wants to have us use Russia to get into space, I mean does the man not understand the Military and NASA are the same. Our defenses come from research from NASA. Without this close net of defense we are opening the doors for any terrorist to come in. Russia does not have the security we have, hell they cant find have the weapons grade plutonium they own. My God Obama has got to be removed before we are open to attack.

I think that the poster was referring to the fact that the space shuttle will be moth balled by the end of the year. After that the U.S. will have to rent space on the Russian space ships to send U.S. astronauts to the space station. I believe the cost to the U.S. will be somewhere north of $50 million per astronaut. Obama has no plans for U,S. space exploration in the future.
Hey Dummies, we've been using the Russians. These plans were put into place quite some time ago as the new space shuttle was already behind schedule. Get a grip.
