Incident: Disorderly Conduct

Narrative: On 12 April 2010 at 3:50 PM, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a Wicomico County school bus driver who had to pull over on Ocean Highway in Delmar because of disorderly and disruptive students. Upon the arrival of Sheriff’s Office personnel, the deputies learned that three juvenile became involved in a boisterous altercation that disrupted the entire bus.

All three juveniles were taken off the bus by the deputies and charged on a juvenile referral for their behavior. All three were released to family members. The referrals will be sent to the Department of Juvenile Services for adjudication.

Incident: Driving While Revoked
Date of Incident: 12 April 2010
Location: North Prong Lane, Delmar, MD
Suspect: Jeffrey B. Morrison, 59, Delmar, MD

Narrative: On 12 April 2010 at 5:55 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped Jeffery Morrison on North Prong Lane in Delmar and discovered that Morrison’s driving privilege had been both suspended and revoked. The deputy placed Morrison under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner.

After an initial appearance, the Commissioner held Morrison in the Detention Center in lieu of $10,000.00 bond.

Incident: Attempted Burglary
Date of Incident: 12 April 2010
Location: TCBY, Dogwood Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Justin S. Vetra, 23, Fruitland, MD

Narrative: On 12 April 2010 at 11:52 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported attempted burglary at the TCBY on Dogwood Drive in Salisbury. Upon arrival the deputy observed a broken exterior window. After examining the inside of the store with an employee, it was determined that the perpetrator did not make it inside successfully.
The deputy learned that shortly after this incident occurred, a Fruitland Police officer stopped a suspicious person walking into Fruitland from the area of the TCBY. After further investigation, the deputy determined this was the same individual responsible for the attempted burglary of the TCBY and subsequently located him and placed him under arrest.

The arrested subject, Justin Vetra, was then transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Vetra was detained in the Detention Center in lieu of $3,000.00 bond.
