Pemberton Park Has Several Programs On Tap To Welcome Spring

(Salisbury, MD) Join Pemberton Historical Park on Wednesday, March 17 for another presentation from its Third Wednesday Lecture Series at 7:30 P.M. This month features Pat Taylor, an associate from the Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture. Light refreshments will be served. This program is $6 per person and free to Friends of Pemberton Historical Park and Friends of Pemberton Hall.

On Saturday, March 20 at 10:00 A.M., join a Park Naturalist for a Map and Compass Hike. Have you ever wondered how to really use a compass? Now’s your chance! Learn about the history of navigation, the basic skills of compass use, finding your way and how to read a map. A great program for scouts! This program is $6 per person, $18 for a family of four and free for Friends of Pemberton Historical Park.

Kick of the beginning of Spring Pemberton Park style! Celebrate the end of cold weather at Pemberton Park’s Springfest on Saturday, March 20 from noon until 1:30pm. Join us for spring crafts, a live animal show, scavenger hunts, prizes and more. This program is $6 per person or $18 for a family of four. For Friends of Pemberton Historical Park, the program is $4 per person or $12 for a family of four.
