Which one?
WTF -- isn't the next City election next year, and the filing deadline for the County and State elections this year has not happened yet, so how do they even know who the candidates are?
Doesn't Ireton have better things to do -- like grading homework?

Please mention the really significant aspects of the City election that occurred "one year ago" -- as I recall Barrie Tilghman was pulling all stops for Comegys on her "Monday Morning with the Mayor" BS on WICO, anonymous material smearing Ireton and Campbell was being circulated, and Bubba was mouthing about the WWTP being on time and under budget, as well as an engineering marvel, and claiming full credit for all that, shortly before this blog broke the news that the WWTP upgrade is a disaster.
And then there was the fatboy-blogger doing all he could to back Bubba and Boda by his smear campaign.

Are you dumb? The title is "A Year Ago Today." Maybe you need to quit worrying about someone else grading homework and work on your own reading skills.
And let's not forget that Phil Tilghman was doing all he could to defeat Debbie Campbell in last years election. He wanted her off the PAC-14 board and has recently managed to do that, with the assistance of the 3 stooges on the City Council.
And also recall what then Chiefy Webster was doing to smear Ms. Campbell. At least he's now history (almost).
Does anyone know if Comegys parks at that cemetery behind his house?

I believe that the one by Barrie ("BPT") is from a city council meeting and the one by Comegys is from that crappy radio show that she did.
The one with Don Rush is longer that the others, but well worth the time -- Comegys sounded like a clown compared to Ireton.

That audio file "BPT - City under Siege" is a classic. She sounds like the typical dictator when the day of reckoning has come to close for comfort.
Comegys sounds like the bombastic buffoon that he always has been and will be.

I have not lived here long. Those soundbites really help me understand what many folks have said about the former mayor and Mr. Comegys. How did they ever get elected?
