Rick was one of the teachers that all the kids liked. I liked him engaging the students to think. He had them discuss their point of view and then took the opposing point to challenge them on their reasoning. His lessons were on topic and he made them interesting to his students. He was envolved in all aspects of the students and always helped in fund raising efforts etc. He will be surely missed by all.

Dont be fooled by the administration. As my time as a student, MR. Seay stressed the unwillingness of Mr. Hughes(Principal now and then) to cooperate on many important school issues. I think his voice still has not been heard.

I have so many memories his history class. Lucky enough to have him 9th and 12th grade. He always believed in each of us. He kept the class and lessons interesting getting us involved in debates. Many days we didn't want class to in. He always pushed us to help and donate during the can food drives of course his class always won while I was a student at Wi Hi. Great teacher and will be truly miss.

Mr Seay was the most thought provoking teacher I ever had. He never made a student feel inferior for answering a question wrong, only helped you get to the right answer. He sincerely cared about his students. I am thankful to have had him as a homeroom teacher and a history teacher. He wont be forgotten. Thank you Mr Seay.

I was blessed to have known Mr. Seay. As a teacher to me two different years & mentor throughout my tenure, he was thought provoking yet down to earth. He challanged us all yet knew how to relate. He helped prepare me for college, advising me on application essays as well as educating me about classic rock. For this I am grateful. Thank You Mr. Seay!
