Suspect: Curtis H. Stier, 41, Delmar, DE

Narrative: On 8 October 2009 at 2:16 PM, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a disorderly, intoxicated male who was exposing his genitalia on Woodlawn Street in Delmar, MD. The deputies were advised that this subject was exposing himself to multiple individuals and urinating in public. Upon arrival, the subject, later identified as Curtis Stier, ran from the deputies and attempted to hide between two sheds. Stier was also seen in possession of a knife when he was located between the sheds. Several requests had to be made to get Stier to comply with the requests from the deputies to submit to an arrest. Upon lying on the ground, Stier struggled and resisted the attempts of the deputies to place him into handcuffs, which they eventually managed to do.
Stier was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Stier was detained by the Commissioner in lieu of $10,000.00 bond.
