indecisive ones. if you are going to go into the turn lane, GO, dont think about it, just go... let us go past you. slow, older drivers drive me up a wall... i thoroughly believe that over the age of 70, you should have a driving aptitude test yearly. and over 75, every 6 months.

Texting teenagers weaving into the next lane, Prius drivers going 55 in the fast lane next another driver going 54.999 creating a rolling road block,drivers that leave their turn signal on for miles.
BUT how many of the older drivers have accidents? It's those who have the idea that the faster they go the faster they will get there. This is not necessarily so. We have drivers "rip" around us while we are doing the speed limit and when we get to the light there they sit. We burned less gas, less aggervation on the nerves AND we smile when we get to the light. So there! Slow down and enjoy life and we will see you at the traffic light.

I have noticed lately the worst drivers are mothers with childern in car going to school or games or where ever . If you are in that much of a hurry , for the safety of us all , leave earlier . Also your childern are watching you !! FYI I am a female driver
As for states...PA without a doubt.I have business in OC and it is a universally held truth down there that we have no idea how these people obtain licences.
As to gender and age...young women ..again , hands down...they are aggressive and almost always running their mouthes on thier cellphones while tailgating you.
Tailgating in this area is bad , mostly females on the cell phone.

My pet pieve~drivers riding up your bumper to pass you only to meet up at the stop sign or light five minutes later. Typically SUV or mini van drivers with only one person inside.

worst drivers - females from 17 to about 25 years of age driving hondas. watch them drive around the college doing 65 in a 35. they have no sence of speed at all and can't see the speedometer because their to busy on the cell phone.
North Dakota drivers, Women between the ages of 16 and 116, and anyone on a cell phone.
It would have to be the elderly. I have the utmost respect for them, but they do cause alot of accidents, most of the time for pulling out in front of someone. I think that when you reach a certain age, say 70 or so, that you have to take a drivers test again or lose your license.

COME ON, get out of the way if you are going to go -.02 miles an hour! and DE drivers are the WORST, ever heard of the "DP" ..aka the "Delaware pass" - the wanna be streetracers made this up - its passing someone on the highway, ON THE SHOULDER, pretty dangerous if you ask me!
Tailgating is the thing that pisses me off the most. I love the ones that get so close you can't see their headlights. One of these days I'm going to go buy an old beat up car. Then it's going to be demolition derby on route 50. For tailgaters I'm slamming on brakes. For people who are driving 10 miles under the speed limit, I'm smacking your a$$ to move you out of my way. For the ones who are on the cell phone, tail gating and then giving you dirty looks when you finally move out of their way, I'm going send you sailing into the median strip. I'm going to mount to the roof of the car a cell phone jammer. Imagine what would happen if you were riding down the road and suddenly people were cut off from their calls. OMG, the world would come to an end. At least they would finally off the phone and drive.

Philly drivers are the worst!
Hand downs PA drivers, but even worse than PA drivers is PA drivers pulling motorcycle trailers. If they drive their Harleys like they do their truck with the trailers, may God be with them.
Women, in a minivan, full of kids, on her Cellphone, with cig in otherhand, in a Walmart parking Lot on friday afternoon.
Drivers who don't read the merge signs a mile back during road construction and try to merge at the last second causing bottlenecking. Did you think they were kidding when they said left lane closed or are you just trying to cut in front of everyone to save those precious 2 minutes? Also drivers who don't know what to do at a 4-way stop irritate me.

PA drivers can be bad, but I would have to say NJ in general. What really is crazy to me is when you pull into a gas station and have to show someone from NJ how to use the pump, since apparently everything is full service there. Really convenient until you cross the state line and have to do it yourself. On a completely unrelated note, I have found people from Jersey tend to have attitude problems. What is with these people?

Illegal hispanics! They drive while drinking at a very high rate. They usually don't have a license or, more importantly, INSURANCE. I've seen 3 fender benders at gas stations in the last 2 years. All 3 were caused by illegal invader hispanic drivers who were drinking, unlicensed, and uninsured. I know because in each instance the driver got out and tried to run! To bad for them that we who witnessed the accidents grabbed them and held them for police. What total scum these illegal alien, uninsured, unlicensed criminals are!

People in passenger cars (non-commercial)who almost stop over RR tracks do so because they believe if they are going fast it will knock the car out of alignment but truthfully most RR crossings nowadays are properly graded and unless you are flying down the road,you should not have to come to a stop to cross them.
Large commercial trucks and passenger/school buses are required by law to stop at all RR crossings.
Virginia drivers and Delaware drivers who come to Salisbury and drive the way that they do at home. I also agree with Anon. 11:25! Don't forget the people who ride down the road with their blinker on! GRRRRRRR. I think that men are worse drivers than women, because they are more agressive. The person tailgating 99% of the time is a man because they are so impatient.

P-A-holes are by far the worst drivers! They come down here and try to run our area (especially the Steeler fans), but then when you go up to PA they drive and act perfectly normal? What's up with that?!

12:26 has it right. Pa drivers arent the best but ppl here dont have any idea what its like to drive somewhere you arent familiar with because locals here dont ever leave the shore. Ive heard numerous times from local ppl that they dont drive in Balto due to there being "too much going on". Locals here dont use their signals, pull in front of you(when there is no traffic behind you), drive too slow and are generally inconsiderate.
For those that commented on ppl passing them, understand that some of us on the road actually have somewhere to be/things to do and can't just drift around aimlessly with nowhere to go other than to the store and home. No wonder nothing ever gets done around here.

some of the parents at my kids school! They pile the kids in not even buckled yet and speed off with no concern of those kids who walk home and might be crossing the street. they try to sqeeze thru the parking lot because they dont wanna wait for us parents who actually make sure thier kids are buckled and watch for kids running across the streets. I am a soccer mom who drives a big 4x4 suv I don't creep over railroad tracks. I don't text or talk while driving I have a huge fear of being in a car accident and something happening to me or my children. I dont want to live the rest of my life without my kids and i dont want my kids to live without me. If im running late..than oh well were late. I hate people who are always in a rush!
DE drivers definitely! they seem to not realize that the left lane is for faster moving traffic. a DE license should only be good in that state, not anywhere else.
Try driving in Soul South Korea sometime. You have a 2 line highway that is four lanes across with cars. Red light two blocks down, keep moving. Taxi drivers? My god, run away fast. See an old guy on a bike with egg crates stacked 20 feet high? Go around as far away as you can.
See a truck with high pressure cans like propane? bet they are set in loose. See 2 motorcyclist hit? They get up and fight it out, the winner is the one able to ride away.
I had to drive a military Hummer in that insanity. So I know what insane bad driving is.

Being from NJ I can honestly say the drivers down here are far worse. Do the cars down here even have turn signals? A coworker once told me I was "signal happy" that I used my blinker too much-like duh! I admit I have a tendency to follow too closely on the highway but I wouldnt call it tailgating per se. As for the worse drivers in general-and I dont mean to discriminate-it seems to be African American women over 50 or so. Dont ask me why I have no rhyme or reason.
I'm from PA originally and people from the eastern shore are horrendous drivers. Pulling out in front of people and riding the left lane. And what's the deal with buying 4 wheel drive vehicles when everything is flat here and when you get a dusting of snow those same people drive 2 MPH.
