While not confirmed, we have come to learn that a child may have jumped/dropped/fallen off the Chincoteague Bridge.
I'm not near the area and have no one I can really contact, so we're going off a tip sent into us. Hopefully it's not true at all.

Yes there is a dive team. Accomack county sherrifs office has a diver and the coast guard is visible from the bridge so I am sure if this happened response was swift. THe fire dept is at the foot of the bridge almost too.
So what happened?
1 diver, so hes in the water and gets jammed up, who is there to back him. Just because the coast guard is there doesnt mean they have divers. Not trying to pick can argument, just stating the facts. From what I was told all agencies involved worked well getting the lady out of the water and Kudos should go out to them.
