On September 30, 2009 at approximately 2:50 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a business on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a subject passed out in the front of the business. Upon arrival the officers observed the below listed suspect who was intoxicated and refusing to leave the property. The suspect was lying on the ground near the entrance to the business. After a number of attempts to get the suspect to leave the property, without success, the suspect was taken into custody.
ARRESTED: Taron Lee Roberts, 25 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Disorderly conduct
Failure to obey a lawful order
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900034756
On September 30, 2009 at approximately 6:05 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant obtained for a theft that occurred on September 26. On that date the suspect entered a convenience store on Snow Hill Road and took a jar of change that was on display to benefit the John Hopkins Children’s Fund. The responding officer viewed a video of the theft and was able to positively identify the suspect.
ARRESTED: Bryan Andre Hyland, 38 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Theft (under $ 100)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900034247
On September 29, 2009 at approximately 1:40 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant received for an incident that occurred on August 28, 2009. On that date the suspect was found driving a motor vehicle reported stolen in the state of Delaware. The suspect was observed by the vehicle’s owner who attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspect struck the victim with the vehicle then collided with a fence, destroying the fence, before driving from the area. The victim was treated and released from the Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
ARRESTED: George (nmn) Bivens, Jr., 53years of age Delmar, Delaware

Theft (over $ 500)
Reckless endangerment
Malicious destruction of property
A number of motor vehicle offenses involving striking the victim and the collision with the fence

On September 29, 2009 at approximately 4:42 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant obtained for an assault that occurred on September 16. On that date the suspect was involved in a domestic type physical altercation that resulted in the suspect stabbing an adult male victim with a pocketknife in the leg. The assault occurred in a residence on Middleneck Drive in Salisbury. The victim was treated and released from the Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
ARRESTED: Roger Sheridan Joudrey, Jr., 50 years of age Parsonsburg, Maryland
CHARGES:
First degree assault
Second degree assault
Reckless endangerment

On September 30, 2009 at approximately 1:32 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for a number of traffic violations on U.S. Rt. 50. When the vehicle was stopped the suspect attempted to flee from the vehicle but was apprehended by the officers on scene. The suspect was found to be driving without a license. The suspect was arrested and a search of the vehicle incident to arrest revealed a bag containing a substantial quantity of suspected “crack”/cocaine.
ARRESTED: Rashaan Abdul Evans, 26 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
Possession of cocaine
Possesion of CDS/paraphernalia
Driving without a license
Driving on a suspended and revoked license
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900034699
On September 29, 2009 at approximately 7:00 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on Iris Drive for the report of arson. Upon arrival the officers found that the two below listed suspects had burned a piece of furniture on the porch of a row house. Investigation revealed that the suspects had retrieved the piece of furniture from a dumpster and had placed the furniture on their porch. The suspects then used a flammable aerosol to ignite and burn the furniture. The furniture was burned on the porch of the residence that was connected to several other residences.
ARRESTED #1: Paul Alan Steinitz, 19 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #2: Stephen Michael Janssen, Jr., 19 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES (both):
First degree malicious burning
Second degree malicious burning
Malicious destruction of property (over $500)
Malicious destruction of property (under $500)
Reckless endangerment
DISPOSITION: Both released to Central Booking CC # 200900034666
On September 27, 2009 at approximately 10:16 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant received for an incident that occurred on September 20, 2009. On that date Officers of the Salisbury Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by the suspect for traffic violations. The suspect was asked to exit the vehicle and was found to be in possession of a smoking device containing suspected “crack”/cocaine.
ARRESTED: Alexandria Joy Rittenhouse, 25 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Possession of cocaine
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900029306

Dang Alexandria..weren't you just arrested in Aug for drugs? and in July for credit card theft? and now crack! Looks like your going away for a long time. Hows your daughter doing? Do you even know? Better yet do you care. apperently not. Bet your baby daddy is loving that your spending his hard earn Military money on drugs and not his daughter! I bet if he knew what was really going on He would be on the first flight to pick his daughter up! Hope Jail straightens you out!
