Benefiting Dwayne Purnell And Family

Dwayne Purnell is the administrator of Seaside Christian Academy in West
Ocean City. He was born and raised in Berlin, Maryland, until his high school
and college years, where he attended Cardinal Gibbons Catholic High School
and Towson State University. He worked in the Indian River School District for
six years as a counselor before coming to Ocean City Christian School in 2003.

He became administrator of Ocean City Christian School in 2005, which later
changed its name to Seaside Christian Academy.

Married to Maureen Purnell, Dwayne has four children and seven grandchildren.
He is a member of the Cross of Christ Church in Berlin, Maryland, and is
an ordained Evangelist.

Last July, Dwayne went in for an angiogram to clear a blockage in one of his
arteries. During the procedure, he suffered serious complications, which prompted
emergency bypass surgery. Since that time, he has been in the hospital; much
of that spent in ICU, recovering.

He will be making the move home soon, and this breakfast fundraiser is to raise
money to help pay for the medical needs he will have during his recovery.

Along with our regular menu items, we will be doing a pancakes, eggs and sausage breakfast for a minimum donation of $5.
