Incident: Extradition from Pennsylvania
Date of Incident: 4 September 2009

Suspect: Jamel Rafiq Patterson, 21, Philadelphia, PA

Narrative: On 4 September 2009, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office travelled to Philadelphia, PA to pick up Jamel Patterson who was incarcerated there pending extradition to Maryland. On 16 April 2009, Patterson failed to appear for a sentencing hearing after pleading guilty to Possession of CDS with the Intent to Distribute. Upon being returned to Wicomico County, Patterson was detained in the Wicomico County Detention Center without bond pending sentencing in the Wicomico Circuit Court.
