Annapolis, MD -- The Maryland Republican Party joins the Maryland Republican Caucus and Congressman Bartlett in calling for a full investigation of ACORN in view of the charges.
"This is just one more incident in a long string of illegal activities surrounding this organization. First voter fraud, now involvement with prostitution and tax fraud, indicate that this organization is all about breaking the law and not about democracy."

ACORN absolutely has a black eye, and I'm not trying to defend it, but as if political figures / wealthy people don't use this same method of "cheating" the government out of money.
Dear 11:51 AM, The difference is eventually the so called wealthy cheats will be prosecuted. The Democrats will just give more taxpayer money to ACORN. They will hold hearings on the CIA or anyone else trying to defend this country. It will be a cold day in H--l before they bite the hand of their contributors.
Obama will just call them by another name and still give them billions of our tax payers money for getting him elected.
The Dumbocrats will never allow a true investigation of ACORN anymore than they are investigating Charlie Rangels tax cheating.
There will be some kind of a show hearing, but thats all.

Not quite sure what you're trying to say, other than proclaiming your Dem hate.
This isn't about red vs blue, just stating that there are cheats in all levels of society.
And I'd like to know your definition of "eventually".
Question: Has ACORN been found guilty of anything? or are they being accused of these things?

There are just a lot of people who are alarmed at the direction the current administration (and the Democratic controlled Congress) is trying to lead us.
I just deleted my baltimoresun.com book mark after finding that they have totally obscured the 2 Million people that were protesting (peacefully) in DC today.
I think it's about time people demand an investigation of this organization and if the dems won't do it the Republicans should.
They are in bed with NObama and this is very, very bad for our country.
All of you are missing it. What is most disgusting about these videos isn't the cheating on taxes. It's two middle-aged women condoning and even giving support for a brothel of girls that are only fifteen years old. It's about how individuals without a trace of morality or human decency are now in positions of power. Is this the "change" America wanted? I hope you supporter of this change are proud of yourselves. Look at the world you have created for our children.
