This is the single most hilarious thing I have ever seen. Thanks so much! I am sure if you dig further we can find a hebrew and aramaic tranlsation as to who the next coach of the Washinton Redskins will be after they lost to the Detroit Lions yesterday. Actually I think Dan Snyder translated to the Aramaic means little guy with glasses who should never own a sports team...... Hilarious, Love it.

He certainly acts as though he could be the anti-christ. And he has fooled millions of people just like satan does. But nothing surprises me today. Just look at the speed at which things are changing in our country. And it is not for the better. He is detroying our country and people sit around with their heads in the sand and just suck it up. What a shame.

Those of us who believe in the Bible know Reagan didn't do what the Bible says the Anti-Christ will do: The Anti-Christ will broker a 7 year peace in the Middle East, and all will be good for 3 years. Then the Anti-Christ will betray Israel, favor the Muslims and lead a world army to Amagedon & defeat at the hands of God & Israel.
The world leader who does this will clearly be seen as the Anti-Christ by those who study and believe the Bible. Who will it be?I don't know, but keep your eyes open and see world events with a Biblical understanding. The Anti-Christ will be revealed to those with understanding!

First, the verse in Luke says Jesus saw "Satan." The antichrist and Satan are not the same.
Second, it's pure speculation as to what language--Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic--Jesus was speaking. If He didn't make the quote in Greek (what Luke wrote in) then His exact words are unknown.
Third, Luke 10:18 is in past tense--Jesus said He *saw* (past tense) Satan fall. The event had already happened.
Fourth, and most important, the antichrist (known by many names in the Bible) will not be revealed until a number of other events happen first. It's not time yet, so if someone thinks he knows the name of the antichrist today then he isn't reading the rest of the Bible.
Fifth, when the antichrist is revealed, you don't want to be here. I know that I won't be here, and I don't worry about figuring out his name.
Little Augustus, do you and your faithful truly believe the world(or even the nation) will find direction or base decisions on a story written by mortals? A fable, BTW, that fewer and fewer enlightened people find relevant? Let us just stick to the topic of the end times. It was written in the Bible thousands of years ago that the Jews would be scattered around the Earth. In the end time, the Bible says they will
reclaim & return to Israel. It says that after modern Israel is established, all nations of the world will come against her in the battle of Armagedon. Just examine this with an "enlightened" mind. The jews were scatterd for thousands of years, and in 1948 the Allied powers established the Modern State of Israel according to biblical boundaries. Millions of Jews returned home as was written. This had to happen for us to be in the end time and set up the battle of Armagedon. It has happened!
Now, this is the one that really convinces me. It was written thousands of years ago that all nations of the Earth would come against Israel. For thousands of years there was no logical reason for all the nations of the Earth to do this. In the last 50 years the reason the nations of the Earth would side with the Muslims and attack Israel has materialized.
The Muslims want the tiny area of land of Israel. The nations of the Earth will side with them because all the oil in the region belongs to the Muslim nations. As world economies collapse and the struggle for oil becomes more intense and critical, they will do anything to side with the oil producing nations of the Middle East. This circumstance wasn't a reality for thousands of years. Now it is and signals the end time and absolutely correct predictions of the Bible. If an "enlightened" person lays a map of world history against events the Bible said would happen, they fit perfectly.
Yes, grasshopper 8:50, mankind still has the same human issues as those in Biblical times. These would include a basic difference between those who believe God and those who don't. Also, still relevent are human emotions of love & hate, greed, charity, & the complete range of good & evil that embodies the human condition.
Anyone can belive the Bible and perhaps this act of faith is best. But if someone wants to be "enlightend" and truly understand Christianity and John 1.1, they must have the mental ability to comprehend esoteric Platonism. Perhaps I have given you some food for thought if you haven't just decided to dismiss Christianty out of hand. Up unitl the 12th century Catholic theology was more Platonic. From the 13th on it became modeled more after the philosophy of Aristotle. Most of todays evangelical churches are still heavily Platonic.

Islam wasn't around until about the 7th century AD. I'd like to know where in the Bible it mentions anything about Islam or Muslims, and how the anti-christ favors them.

Read again! I said I didn't know the identity of the Anti-Christ.
I'll have to do some more reading, but I don't believe the Bible names a country of origin for the Anti-Christ. I believe it says he will come from the East. The East would be relative to the point of observation. We live in Salisbury so East would be Ocean City, England, and on across the globe.
I assume the person who wrote about the Anti-Christ had a different point of reference.
Henry, You are correct on all points. I'm not use critics of the Bible who actually study, so I skipped to modern times & simplified so as not to confuse those who aren't as well read as you. To be more precise the nations of Earth will side with the traditional, Biblical enemies of Israel in the Middle East, and I believe oil will be the reason for them to do so. These Biblical enemeies include the Philistines, (now called Palestinians), and all the nations surrounding Israel that are now nearly 100% Muslim.

I talk with many Muslims and they inform me that Islam is derived from the word salema. It menas peace, purity and obedience to God. Although it wasn't called
Islam till the time you stated, My muslim friends say it always existed. Of course a Muslim is a follower of Islam, and Muslim means one who submits to God. They further
inform me that Jesus was a Muslim, (without the later given name-Muslim), and that is why
the Jews had the Romans kill him.
I don't believe they are correct. I understand Plato
and believe Jesus when he said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me." That makes
me a believer in Christianity.
