Incident: Thefts from Motor Vehicles
Date of Incident: 28 August 2009
Location: Wicomico County
Suspect: Pending
Narrative: During the last 72 hours, the Wicomico Sheriff’s Office has received an upsurge in the number of complaints where vehicles have been entered overnight, throughout Wicomico County. In these incidents, the vehicles had been left unlocked. We would like to remind all of our citizens to please secure their vehicles when unattended and please be cognizant of anything out of place.
So far we have received complaints from the following areas:
3000 block of E. Rustic Drive
4000 block of Ramblin Road
30600 block of Willis Way
31000 block of Mt. Hermon Road
6000 block of Westbrooke Drive
6000 block of Dunes Court
27000 block of Muirfield Drive

"the vehicles had been left UNLOCKED!" Your vehicles were made with locks, use them. Its 2009, people steal things, along with murder, start fires, rape, drown animals, fighting and drive while drunk. Should be a citation for DUMB!
