Incident: Burglary
Date of Incident: 20 August 2009
Location: 800 block of Booth Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect:
1. Franky N. Fontanez, 38, Salisbury, MD
2. Maria Rivera, 19, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 20 August 2009
at 11:37 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico Sheriff’s Office investigated a reported burglary to a vacant apartment in the 800 block of Booth Street. Upon the arrival of the deputy, an individual later identified as Franky Fontanez was discovered inside the vacant apartment. Further investigation revealed a female, Maria Rivera, in the curtilage of the property that was positively identified as being inside the apartment with Fontanez. Upon examining the lock on the door, it appeared that the mechanism had been unassembled, allowing Fontanez and Rivera unhindered access to the apartment.

The deputy arrested both Fontanez and Rivera and transported both to the Central Booking Unit where they were processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After their initial appearances, the Commissioner released both on Personal Recognizance.

Charges: Burglary 4th Degree

Incident: Endanger welfare of a child
Date of Incident: 22 August 2009
Location: 800 block of Booth Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Wilkely NMN Garcia, 25, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 22 August 2009
at 9:14 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 800 block of Booth St in reference to a report of a small child wandering in the street. Upon the arrival, the deputy located a three year old child that the deputy estimated had been wandering in a common area outside adjacent to the roadway for approximately 30 minutes. The mother of the child, Wilkely Garcia, was located inside her residence, unaware that her child had wandered out.

The deputy placed Garcia under arrest for Endangering the Welfare of a child and Reckless Endangerment. Garcia was transported to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Garcia was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Violation of a Protective order
Date of Incident: 19 August 2009
Location: 200 block of Pine Way, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Janice L. Benny, 49, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 19 August 2009
at 9:11 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 200 block of Pine Way in reference to a complaint of a Violation of a Protective Order. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the resident who stated that Janice Benny was inside the residence in Violation of a Protective Order served earlier in the week and that Benny refused to leave. The deputy went inside and observed Benny sitting on the sofa. Upon verifying that the Protective Order was valid and still in effect, the deputy placed Benny under arrest.

The deputy transported Benny to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Benny was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

It won't be long and the city of Salisbury will be annexing this fine piece of real estate. I am really looking forward to Jim Ireton building his empire now. Jim, if you were any man you would be putting a stop to all these annexations. Especially the ones that will continue to bring the city down like this GHETTO!!

This is an outrage and the citizens of Salisbury need to stand up to these elected thugs.
