Madoff, 71, Claims He Has Cancer; Befriends Native American, Homosexual Inmates, New York Post Reports
(CBS) Just a couple months into his lifetime prison sentence, Bernie Madoff is apparently making friends, and confessions.
The New York Post reports that the disgraced investor who duped clients out of billions with his Ponzi scheme claims he is dying of cancer.
"He's been taking about 20 pills a day for his cancer," one inmate tells the Post. "He talks about it all the time. He's not doing very well."
Madoff has also participated in sweat lodge ceremonies with Native American inmates, the Post reports, in an effort to detoxify his body. He has also forged bonds with homosexual inmates, the newspaper reports.

Many of the people whose life savings he ruined are also dying of cancer.
Woe is him. Not.
Oh, and some of the charities he bilked supported cancer patients. Guess they don't have money now to help him out. Too bad for him.
The people he swindled suffered far more that he has to date.
Maybe his death in prison will be more painful now. We can only hope. Better not let him out. If they do, better invite all the people whose lives he ruined to meet him at the door.
