CoC Claims Aventis, Radio Shack, ConAgra Pull Ads
Also Claims Roche Has Pulled Ads, but company has not confirmed "Black nationalist" bloggers and Obama advisors "Color of Change" have released a statement claiming that Sanofi-Aventis, maker of Plavix, ConAgra, makers of Healthy Choice (and many other brands), RadioShack (for the magicJack product specifically) and Roche, makers of AccuCheck Aviva, have all withdrawn their advertising from the Glenn Beck Program on Fox News Channel.
In a media release, Color of Change quotes the advertisers as follows...
ConAgra...
“…Upon review of this particular program, we have discontinued our advertising for all ConAgra Foods products during its airing,” said Stephanie Childs, spokesperson for ConAgra Foods, in an email to ColorOfChange.org. “We share your commitment to diversity in all areas of life and appreciate you sharing your concerns with us.”
Sanofi-Aventis...
“We have specified that our ads will no longer run on Mr. Beck's show,” said Sean Connor, Manager of Media Services and Purchasing for Sanofi-Aventis, in an e-mail to ColorOfChange.org. “We have included this show on a list of programming that should not be utilized within the Fox network buys. Thank you for drawing our attention to this matter.”
Radio Shack (taking on ALL of Fox News Channel, apparently)...
“We've asked magicJack to immediately cease and desist running all commercials with our name tagged in the spot on FNC,” Hamlin continued. “In fact, I just received verification from one our merchants that magicJack has confirmed the commercial will be pulled from the Fox News Channel rotation ASAP.”
Roche...
A spokesperson for Roche confirmed the company’s decision to pull its ads during a phone conversation with ColorOfChange.org Tuesday, but the company has not issued a written statement.
DefendGlenn.com has gotten conflicting responses from these advertisers, so we do not know how much they are blowing smoke for the radicals over at Color of Change out of fear of Van Jones, Obama BFF and self-described "black nationalist" and "Communist" who somehow got appointed as "Green Jobs Czar".
However, we have no choice but assume these advertisers have entered the "turncoat" category, and we as a community shall act accordingly.
We invite emails to let us know about all the competitors to these products so that we can inform our community to direct their purchasing dollars elsewhere. It won't be long before these advertisers realize they have been punked by a bunch of paid activists, college students and slackers in their parent's basements, who won't fill a single prescription of PLAVIX all year long--while our community can hurt their bottom line, big time.

Clearly advertisers who had previously said they were withdrawing ads from Glenn's show are now feeling the pressure of thousands of loyal Beck fans expressing their anger and threatening to go to their competitors for business. It's becoming clear that a handful of 40-something bloggers living in their Mom's basement managed to put an initial scare into these companies, and many of them made a BIG mistake in cancelling their ads.
Now they will find out how big an economic force is 2.4 million viewers who actually work for a living.
UPDATE: Several Beck fans feel that SC Johnson is BS-ing us with their double talk in different emails. So we have officially returned them to "Turncoat" status--LET 'ER RIP! (08-15-09 21:20)

Left-Wing Hate Mongers and Racists Threaten Beck's Advertisers to Drop His TV Show
Radical groups with strong ties to Obama, such as the "black nationalist" political group Color of Change and the left-wing blog DailyKos have targeted Glenn Beck for his perceived "racist" views about Barack Obama. The truth behind the lies is that Beck is being specifically targeted for exposing the web of left-wing organizations that Obama is bringing into power. Obama and his allies know they can never push through their agenda if the American people are aware of it, so they are constructing their web behind the scenes--using extra-constitutional "czars", with the goal of moving America towards Socialism. One of these Czars is the founder of Color of Change. The mainsteam Obama-centric media will never report these activities. Some conservatives don't even report them, Glenn Beck is the only one who does, and thus is a clear and present threat to the considerable policial, union and economic entities he threatens to expose.

I usually do bathroom chores, etc when the ads come on, or skip thru them using the DVR.

8:43 -- don't be fooled. Beck isn't losing money on this deal. He's gaining much more attention. As he should be. What happened to freedom of speech? Glenn Beck has been out spoken on many issues -- including much of what George Bush was doing, so he can't be categorized as "right wing, radical, blah blah blah". If you don't like what he's saying, change the channel. If you don't like that he called the President a racist, don't watch his program. But why should an organization bully companies into pulling their ads?

It doesn't take brains to know when someone is full of horse crap and believe me when I say Glenn Beck is full of horse crap. I'm proud to say I'm an American, a Warrior, and not too dull. Anyone who thinks my politics make me weak or less of a patriot, should try saying that to my face when I get back from my third tour in Iraq. What you all seem to think is that what people like Glenn Beck say is the gospel, but you should try thinking for yourself. Read your bible, think about how and more importantly WHY we have our liberties. Show some respect for your fellow Americans and more importantly humans. Mr. Beck hasn't figured that out.
