DOJ COMMENDS CORRECTIONS

Jim,.

I am disappointed that Rick Pollitt is taking 100% credit for a "key move in achieving compliance" of the Dentention Center Settlement Agreement. First rule I learned as a Council Person is that Department Heads know more and understand more than I do. Second rule is that I would not accept acknowledgment for the achievement of a County Department Head.

Gail M. Bartkovich
Wicomico County Council
District 3

This is an unusual case in that most of the original problems still exist and Devenyns deserves no credit for anything. So maybe Pollitt is the only one deserving of any credit, if in fact any credit is due anyone. In reality the DOJ probably just wanted to get this case closed and off there desk.

Go back to your privelaged little pampered life lady and shut the heck up.

Doug Devenyns is a liar. He lied to me on several occasions and others will tell you the same thing. He should have been terminated, not congratulated. Wicomico county will always have problems at WCDC as long as Devenyns is the so called director. If Pollitt had any leadership abilities, he would have terminated Devenyns months ago.

What achievement Ms. Bartkovich. The jail is still a mess and we have pending lawsuits that are going to cost the tax payers money. Get rid of Devenyns, that would be an achievement.

Is the same Gail B. that has been on watch for 12 years. Who was on watch when all the money was stolen from the dump. The same gail B. that did not keep her word to the Deputies of this county. Hmmmmm stop your whining

Who is "Jim" she's writing to? Jim Fineran? This doesn't appear to have been sent to Joe Albero by Gail. Does she just have the name wrong?
