Cathy's Pet Salon Vandalized This Weekend

Cathy's Pet Salon was vandalized Friday night. Someone took a concrete bird bath from the front lawn and smashed it through the front glass door. Nothing was stolen but broken glass was everywhere. I wonder if it was the same people that broke into Robinson's Store a few weeks ago. You know, they break the glass and then nothing is taken. In this case, all of Cathy's documents were locked up and it simply became an inconvenience. Hmmmmmmmmm?

Is this the second incident at their new location?

These are plain sick people. I'll bet these same people would be mean enough to set a cat on fire or leave their baby in a car unattended. They all start somewhere and this is just a sample of what they think they can get away with. Each time, it will be something worse. I am sure they don't "own anything" themselves or they would value other peoples private property. I will bet that Cathy's Pet Salon has cameras around the property as I heard they were in that business once.

No doubt, we had a shooting behind the house 5 doors down, on the street behind us.

The perps were running down my street like they were running for their life. I must give a kudos to SPD they turned into my street while I was still on the phone with dispatch and ran out front to point them in the right direction where the perps were running.

They haven't caught them yet, however they know who they are and it's only a matter of time.

We do still have a drug task force, however they now are on patrol instead of in the office which I think is a good idea. More eyes the better.

Good responces too I've called 6 times in the last 14 days. I'm not going to let them turn my street into a Smith street!

Cathy's is a fantastic place and my dog Kirby loves them there. They moved to a better location to serve thier customers and now they have been vandalized two times. Such a shame and what great people they are. Sorry this had to heppen at all.

Tim Chaney, if the drug task force has been taken from desk duty to the streets, then good. About damn time.

Which tells me that pressure from the public, Mayor Ireton and the two councilwomen under siege by haters has paid off. About time Chief Webster did more than profile in his suit!

I Would Love To Be Head Of Task Force For One Week!!

We Would Need To Build Another Jail.Which Would InFact Give Jobs To Honest People Wanting To Work Not Sell Drugs.

It's not that easy to catch these street dealers. They have lookouts that have cell phones and only need
to text "50" as in Hawaii 5-0 and they scatter like cockroaches.

Citizens have to help, too many people out there afraid to call the police.

Tim As I Agree With You On the Deal Where They Have Lookouts And Cell Phones. The Cops Can't Be So Stupid To Drive Thru In Police Cars.

Any Other Vehicle And They Could Catch Them All Day Long It Is That Easy!

I Could Leave Here Right Now Ride Around With Video Recorder And Record Multiple Drug Deals One After Another.
Be On The LookOut For the Video Vigilante :)

I am just so sorry that Cathy's has had another break in. What a shame as it is a lovely place and they are so nice to my dear Bailey. It is hard to believe that Ted Shea was shot at SECU which is next to Cathy's.....I wish our town was smaller and safer.

they had set a trap on our smith street & caught the vandals a few blocks down.
i watched them book 'em, cuffs & all while i still had the phone in my hands.

Driving by in an old car doesn't get anything done either. Take a video, then prove in court what they are handing out. They need undercover controled buys or they will get nothing but possession charges.
