Is anyone else as concerned with the high rates of children with different forms of cancer in the Delmar & Salibury areas? II can't possibly be the only person that is alarmed by so many children becoming ill. Is there any agency investigating pesticides and fertilizers used in these and the surrounding areas?

There is something causing such a high rate and these children should not be forced to battle this disease at all much less if careless practices are the cause.

With all due respect, I personally think it more about finally having a source willing to expose all of these events for FREE. You won't read these things in the Daily Times without each group having to pay them to advertise each event.

You are absolutely correct Joe. I would like to THANK YOU for everything you do for the community, and keeping everyone informed rather it be good news or bad.

I hope everyone comes out and supports Kara, and please keep praying for her.

Joe I agree the service you provide is excellent and means a great deal to a lot of people because you are sharing these events. I am not sure if you mean the events are now showing up because of your service whereas before they weren't so we did not see the cases. If that is the case you're wrong. The rate of cancer in children has grown in this area over the past few years. Granted there is an increase in population, however many of the children and young adults being diagnosed are children that have been born and raised here.

I think any time there is an increase in cancer, especially in children, it warrants an investigation to see if there is a common link to an environmental contribution.

Good point! I guess the red flag should have gone up just as soon as PRMC spent mega millions on a new cancer wing at the Hospital.
