It was 3 years ago today our Country was burying two fallen Soldiers from Iraq, Corey Palmer & Rick James from Delaware. This was one of our biggest stories back in the day as I was right smack dab in the middle of the riot that broke out where Citizens/Americans broke police lines and went after these Kansas a-holes protesting against the War and our Fallen Soldiers.
It was one heck of a day. All of the MSM was over at the Church when the riot broke out and I had chosen to stick around the protesters because I just knew something was about to happen.
In the end, all of the local television stations were asking if they could use my photos because none of them were anywhere near the action.
How many of you were following Salisbury News back then. Do you all remember this?
R.I.P. Corey Palmer & Rick James, you have NOT been forgotten.

in the first picture--it looks like the first marine is Sean Mitchell--the marine who so tragically died in the accident in Westover on his way back to the base in North Carolina. So sad.....
I wonder who threw the coke soda bottle that started the riot. Then the eggs, and the man who punched the wondow out of the van. Awesome! Come one back to Delaware with your signs and your hate!
I think the signs are like mirrors for a lot of these people.
The rest of them are programmed by their leaders.

We were there as members of Patriot Guard Riders. I remember it well, and cannot believe it has been three years.

Those crazy people in that cult are still out protesting - making no sense at all. Total idiots. Wish the police had stepped aside and let the public take care of them. A lot more would've been broken than the van window.
3 years -- seems like that must be a typo. Feels like that just happened. May God Bless and continue to heal the families of Corey Palmer and Rick James this Memorial Day, and every day.
One of the signs said "Thank God for Dead Soldiers." And this Memorial Day, I think lots of Americans will be paying their respects for if these brave young men and women had not died, we might not be free. So, yes, Thank God that they chose to defend our freedom by making the ultimate sacrifice of putting themselves in harm's way. Thank God for our Dead Soldiers, they are not forgotten.
This is what homophobia, xenophobia, bigotry and racism get you. Nutjobs. Who here doesn't get that this is a disease of the mind? I'm a straight male veteran but no matter what your background, these people should make you sick.
This was my first mission as a PGR member!! I was up at the church and had a heck of a time talking 2 young guys out of going down and getting into it with the AHoles!

From DE, but I currently live in Kansas, home of Fred Phelps and his gang. It's still a shock every time I'm out driving somewhere and adults and even small children are holding signs like the ones seen in the pictures. From what I hear and observe, they are out almost every day "protesting." It's not something you get used to.
