One Year Ago Today

It was cold but the Shorebirds were playing Baseball, they had a Fireworks Show and serving food and Beer. I haven't checked to see when they start the Season but it's always a great way for the Family to enjoy a night out.

How much is the parking fee? I heard they were having one as well. I guess I'll drop my kids off on the side of the road.

The only way I'm seeing a shorebirds game this season is if Joe post pictures. Parking Fee = no me for the Shorebirds. Free parking was the only thing that attracted me to the ballpark.

That's my birthday! I knew they were going after my birthday money!

I heard the parking fee was $3.00

People won't pay $3.00 to park but $5.00 or more for a beer with free parking. Is there something wrong with this picture? Does that mean there is more support for drinking & driving than supporting a local baseball team?

We won't be going to the games this year with the parking fees added.

Parking fees are for the big cities, not Smallsbury. Look at what parking fees did for downtown!

Betcha admissions will be way off, and they will eventually be forced to drop those parking fees.

I don't buy beer there either, because I live 45 min away. If I drive 45 min to a game the last two things I want to do is pay a fee to park, or buy expensive beer and risk a DUI or hurt someone. It is the principle of the matter with parking. What's next..a stair fee to climb the steps to the concourse? or maybe pay toilets?

I won't go downtown because I don't want to pay for parking. It will be rare if I go and pay $3.00 to park in this economy. They will have backups on to Rt. 50 every night while they try to collect money from every car and give change. Watch the attendance drop like a rock this year, which is a shame.

no way. not paying the parking. shorebirds are "out" this year.
