It always cracks me up whenever we share news from Delaware. Some crackpot always says, I thought this was Salisbury News, not Delaware News. Salisbury News is a FREE service. We don't have the convenience or access to purchase stories from the AP. Nevertheless, we do provide mainly local news and information.
The Daily Times charges daily for their newspaper, yet they clearly have very few reporters on staff any longer and to be truthful with you, 80% of the events I attend any more, you won't see the Daily Times there. They now sit behind their desks and wait for the news to come to them. Then when they see a story on Salisbury News, they make contact with that group and create a story out of it a day or two later.
So the next time someone sends me a comment about how we're not providing enough local news, send me your billing address and let me charge you .75 cents a day, (or whatever it is now) for 10 pages worth of information found right here on Salisbury News days in advance.
OK, so now tell us how many of you have cancelled your subscription to the Daily Times?
Shouldn't this say, "Yesterday's News from Salisbury News?"

Now look at the volume of comments. I told you, the Daily Times is a nobody any more. Wait for Joe Albero to post it and a day or two later try and make something of it. At least the Fat Man has a RSS feed to Salisbury News and can respond to all of our Posts within seconds.

Never been a need for DT since discovering your site. The only thing I go to their site for are the obits.

I cancelled mine in Sept. The only thing I really miss about it is the puzzle page.
Actually they had posted the story about the sex charges being dismissed before it was on here.
