A Comment About PAC14
It may not be illegal, but last night at 8 on pac 14 there was an airing of an Ireton Comegys debate/speech and on the silent screen was printed with an apology that Jim Ireton's opening speech would not have any audio. they didnt close caption it either. it seemed to work fine when comegy's began to talk.

(Feel sorry for the PAC14 guys. Sure they wouldn't do anything intentional. But in this political climate, a sneeze would look sinister.)
First of all, I don't get PAC14. Secondly, PAC14 has pulled this kind of crap in the past. Remember 2 years ago when Salisbury News was in the Christmas Parade, they had 2 cameras working the parade and mysteriously we were deleted from the program.
everything is a conspiracy then? Or do you think it might have been an honest tech problem this time?

Absolutely not! No technical glitch! If that were the case they wouldn't have run it.
A level playing field is important. If there was no audio for Ireton's opening, they should have cut the opening segments for both candidates.

Tech problems happen, but then YOU EDIT IT OUT!!!!!!! You do not let one candidate get more time than the other, period. That is a matter of basic fairness, and if you had 2 brain cells to rub together you would be able to acknowledge that.

Take your single brain cell a reread what I wrote, moron. You should not talk about what you do not know, which is simple fairness. The issue is not whether tech problems happen (and by the way, I know my way around a studio), but what you do once they happen. A professional does not put out a product where the audio is screwed up. So you want to talk professinalism? Bring it. Otherwise, go back and learn how to test the audio before the interview begins.
Damn people! The fact is the audio got screwed up during the live recording. Anyone at the forum can attest to that. Jim's mic wasn't working correctly at first. Sh!t happens but you can't fix it now. It had nothing to do with Gary. I still wouldn't vote for him though.

while it may not be a conspiracy, it should not be aired if all sides arent audible or visible or whatever. that was the point of the event in the first place for each side to have a chance to be heard
