Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On March 24, 2009 at approximately 4:23 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of West Railroad Avenue and observed the below listed suspect trespassing on posted property. The officers met with the suspect who fled from the officers on foot. The officers caught the suspect after a brief foot chase and found that the suspect was wanted on an outstanding Wicomico County Circuit Court Bench Warrant for failing to appear for a Violation of Probation hearing.

ARRESTED: Kalvin Lee Holley, 20 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Trespassing
Wicomico Co. Circuit Court Bench Warrant
Failure to appear – Violation of Probation

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On March 25, 2009 at approximately 12:07 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Lombardi’s Restaurant on Civic Avenue for the report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival the officers met with restaurant employees who advised that the below listed suspect had consumed food at the restaurant and attempted to leave without making payment. When approached the suspect struck an employee of the restaurant. The suspect was placed under arrest and also struck one of the officers. A records check of the suspect revealed that the suspect was wanted on two (2) outstanding Worcester County Circuit Court Bench Warrants for failing to appear for two (2) Violation of Probation hearings.

ARRESTED: Christina Jo Minton, 48 years of age Ocean City, Maryland

CHARGES:
Second degree assault (2 counts)
Theft (under $ 100)
Worcester Co. Circuit Court Bench Warrants (2)-
Failure to Appear – Violation of Probation

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking
