I look for The Daily Times to close their doors any day now.

I went into Barnes and Noble this weekend and I noticed they have moved all of their newspapers behind the cashier counter. When looking over the counter I couldn't help but notice that The Daily Times had hordes of unsold newspapers.

No business can sustain this type of operational loss day-in and day-out.

All of the liberal medias are going out of business.

I heard today on O'Reilly's Fox news radio that almost all of the Liberal talk radio shows have gone bankrupt. And then a little latter in the day I heard where the Redskins owner, Dan Snyder, owned (1) liberal talk radio station and (1) conservative radio station and he decided to close the Liberal radio station because of bad ratings.

The Daily Times has notoriously 'hitched to libs' and they to are now paying a steep price for their attachment. It will be near impossible to reverse now at this late stage.

Beezer--Can't you find something else to write about? There are a lot of stocks at an alltime lowpoint in todays terrible economic crisis. How can you take such obvious pleasure at this ? You might hate the Times (I no longer take them seriously myself) but some good people will loose their jobs-and that will affect our local economy for those that do'nt care about the people-so in effect, we all lose. I'm quite certain that SBYnews has now garnered the bulk of The Daily Times patrons.

Most people go to SBYnews first whereas before they would go to The Daily Times. This has happened slowly over time. As each day transpires, SBYnews audience continues to grow.

This observation has become increasingly obvious even to the
blind.

Reference to 7:54 Post

I would say that it would be more of a disservice for SBYnews not to cover the record breaking low stock price of Gannett. Wasn't The Daily Times once considered a cornerstone of our community?

Wasn't The Daily Times formerly located at the corner of Rt.13 and across from PGH in the heart of Salisbury.

How many times have you read slanted news in the DT whereby its editorial staff had an agenda to promote instead of reporting the real news. Just look at today's article whereby they rediculed Page Elmore for sponsoring an honest piece of Tax Capping legislation to benefit the taxpayers instead of the recipients. Granted they (DT) is now trying to position themselves more to the right, but my God why did they wait so long.

Editorials are not news, they're opinion, duh. And the newspaper isn't slanted, you are. Some people around here would find cereal labels communist. I mean, come on here people, where you do think we are? Berekely? Get over yourselves.
