CHICAGO — Firefighters are trying to contain an early morning blaze at Holy Name Cathedral, a landmark Chicago church and the seat of Cardinal Francis George.
The flames that were shooting out of the building's roof were replaced by plumes of white smoke as firefighters continue to douse it with water on a bitterly cold Chicago morning.

Why is the street not packed with fire engines and other equipment not being used like Salisbury does?
well open ur eyes moron, 1 engine and truck on b side, one in lower right hand corner, 1 on ab corner, stick in the air on the cd corner and thats with only a one sided view of the church....hmmm open ur eyes idiot and think before u speak
correction 1 buggy, 2 engines and a truck on just the b side, multiply by 4 sides probably close to 12 to 15 rigs especially on this type of structure....size and accessibility to the c side is very diff so u will have more units staged on the b and c ends of the building....ps that number of units is not counting medics and officers personal rigs
