Incident: Assault on a Deputy
Date of Incident: 8 January 2009
Location: N. Dulaney Avenue, Fruitland, MD
Suspect: Nikita Emelda Boothman, 18, Girdletree, MD
Narrative: On 9 January 2009 at 10:25 PM, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 200 block of N. Dulaney Avenue in Fruitland MD after receiving a tip that a wanted subject could be located at that address. Upon arrival, deputies, along with officers from the Fruitland Police Department managed to locate Nikita Boothman; who was wanted on an outstanding Wicomico County Circuit Court Warrant. Upon being placed in handcuffs, Boothman became very irate and belligerent towards the deputies. Boothman refused to walk to the police vehicle which forced the deputies to carry her. While being carried, Boothman continued to scream obscenities towards the deputies.
Upon getting Boothman to the Sheriff’s patrol vehicle, she began kicking at it, placing a dent in the rear fender. Upon being placed inside the vehicle, Boothman began kicking at the deputies and the interior. During the altercation, the rear view mirror was knocked off and both deputies were struck. Boothman continued to resist and began spitting on one of the deputies. Because of her behavior, the deputies decided to place Boothman inside a Fruitland Police vehicle that was equipped with a rear prisoner transport cage for her trip to Central Booking.
At Central Booking, Boothman was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Boothman was detained in the detention center in lieu of $10,000.00 bond.

OK, here's MY problem with Wicomico County. Here I walk through the Salisbury Zoo WITH a video camera ON and record every second of Jim Rapp harassing ME. They come up with around 49 charges against ME and I'm arrested for allegedly assaulting Jim Rapp. Mind you, I have video PROOF this was NOT the case and I even presented that evidence to States Attorney Davis Ruark, yet I was still arrested. NOW, while visiting with the Commissioner, she was clearly a friend of Mr. Rapp's and the Zoo and said, how dare you use the "F Word" around children in the Zoo. I said, WHAT, I never cursed in that Zoo. She replied, ARE YOU TELLING ME THE DIRECTOR OF THE SALISBURY ZOO IS LYING! I responded, not only is he lying, I have video evidence to prove the only person who cursed that day was in fact Jim Rapp. She responded, THAT WILL BE A $50,000.00 BOND MR. ALBERO!
Now here I look at this Bookman woman denting a Sheriff's Deputy vehicle, assaulting POLICE OFFICERS for real, kicking them and spitting on them and she gets a $10,000.00 BOND! Mind you, I turned myself in, not costing the taxpayers a penny coming to get me.
Is there something wrong with this picture? And people sometimes wonder why some Officers have a chip on their shoulders!
yeah another innocent pot smoker arrested... AWESOME!
She was released on her own recognigence? I was charged a $50,000.00 dollar bond. Now I own 2 properties and a corporation. Is this a form of discrimination ?
What color was the commisioner?
What kind of "favors" were promised?
This prodominately "black" run city really makes me sick!
I am getting very tired of being taken advantage of just because Im a hard working white man. Things have got to "change", not to steal a campaign bases. Because I dont want to be arrested for that .
And Joe , it looks as if your buddy Ruark has sold you down the river dude.Hope you have a paddle?
The entire system is broke and corrupted from D.C. to the local goverments, broke, broke, broke. I personally dont believe that we as a nation have hit rock bottom, I think the real scary stuff is yet to show itself. This goverment needs a total over-haul from top to bottom. Heck we started a revolutionary war over less than this, remember? Its up to us to stop it, no-one is going to do it for us. This is a cultural problem more than anything else. The cultur of corruption.
Dulaney Avenue in Fruitland is a crime hub! It needs to be cleaned up and they can start by getting the Wicomico Housing Authority in there to clean up and unboard some 12 homes or so in that immediate area. We create crime by providing areas for it. Wicomico Housing Authority might be off the federal "watch List" but they've yet to make any visual or community improvements....its a shame
what a retard. why didn't she put the weed away somewhere. She probably forgot. omg my word veri is deweda.lol that hysterical
So much for No Child Left Behind. Somehow the schools failed these "gems."
I hope she goes and washes her hair and does some major clean up with her or him self...
I hope he/she dont have kids..
nothing will happen to him/her...
probation maybe. If we are lucky
i heard she dented the door with her tail
