Question Of The Day

Do you plan on going to the Presidential Inauguration?

Don't just say you are. If you plan on going, when will you go, how will you get there, where will you stay and how will you get around DC?

I'm not saying there won't be a record amount of people there, I just think there's a lot of local talk but no walk the walk. I hear the worst part will be getting out of DC.

This is nice little map of all the bridge closures in and around DC. The metro will not be able to handle the crowds, and unless you are being bussed in the only into DC will be to park miles away and walk on selected routes to get there.
Parking spots near DC are going for $100 a day, and sublet apartments are going for $800 a night.

I'll be here working, so Obama can give my money to those attendees!
It's gonna be like the "scrubbing bubbles" ad " We work hard so you don't have to"
remember:
The goverment can't give you anything that they havn't taken away from someone else!

They say it will be like one giant mosh pit.

My teenagers are going, but it's just too much for me.

Not unless someone wants to make a recognized holiday. I can see that one coming as a Federal Holiday.

I'm going and looking forward the passing of leadership as one of those great American democratic traditions. I have family in the area, will be staying with them, have tickets to one of the balls, but not the swearing in ceremony. I will go to the parade and will watch the ceremony at a buffet bash on several big screens. Staying in DC from Sunday to Wendesday. Then back to the "Bury"

Oh yeah, lets go to DC and run the risk of being mugged, having your car jacked and most of all catching a stray bullet. Yep, I'm going to run right up there to see if my luck has run out.

I couldn't care less who the president is, they are all crooks and have their own agenda. You and I are not part of their agenda no matter what they tell you.

Yes I am going to be at this historis occasion. I will feel like one of the 3 wise men who first peered down upon Christ. When I look upon the Great One, Obama, I will know he is the chosen one to bring my black race out of the muck and give us equal in-depth status in reality and not this surface and insincere opportunties.I see a new peaceful revolution coming in America. Our years as second class citizens ends January 20 th. Oh, what a great day in America! The angels will sing, bells will ring and our people will rejoice.Hats off to the annoited ONE.

I'll be home still in denial that everyone I voted for lost. Is it time to take down the republican yard signs? I'm starting to feel dumb.

Ask yourself:(in 4 years)
What is he gonna do for me?

What did George Bush do for you in the last eight years? $12,500,000,000,000 in debt?

Shock and Awe, Mission Accomplished? The Pentagon can't account for over 25% of their budget. Rumfeld even said that himself the day before 9/11. Thers's a you tube of it.
