Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 14 December 2008
Location: 500 West Salisbury Pkwy, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Monique Antoinette Green, 24, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 14 December 2008 at 2:47 AM, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office assisted officers from the Salisbury Police Department with a large fight in the parking lot of the 7-11 store at 500 West Salisbury Parkway. While intervening in the altercation, a deputy was pushed by Monique Green. The deputy instructed Green to leave the area while law enforcement attempted to quell the disturbance. Green refused to do so and continued to act disorderly and yell belligerently. One of the deputies attempted to place Green under arrest but Green pulled away and increased the level of her yelling. With the assistance of other officers, the deputy managed to arrest Green.

Green was transported to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Green was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute
Date of Incident: 15 December 2008
Location: W. Main Street and Delaware Avenue, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Desean Demar Strand, 21, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 15 December 2008 at 8:49 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico Sheriff’s Office stopped Desean Strand at the intersection of W. Main Street and Delaware Avenue. While speaking with Strand, the deputy noticed that Strand had dropped two baggies that contained what the deputy recognized as marijuana. Upon checking Strand, the deputy located several other individually wrapped baggies of marijuana. Due to the manner of packaging, it appeared destined for distribution.

Strand was arrested and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Strand was held in the Detention Center by the Commissioner in lieu of $25,000.00 bond.

Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute

Incident: Possession of Marijuana
Date of Incident: 15 December 2008
Location: Nanticoke Road at Feather Heights Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Raymond Robert White, 23, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 15 December 2008 at 11:20 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle operated by Raymond White for an equipment violation. During the traffic stop, the deputy discovered that White possessed two baggies of marijuana.

White was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, White was released on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Malicious Destruction of Property and Theft
Date of Incident: 13 - 15 December 2008
Location: West Nithsdale, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: Between 13 – 15 December 2008, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating several incidents of either vandalism to or the theft of Christmas Decorations in the West Nithsdale neighborhood. The unknown suspect has both pulled down Christmas lights and also stolen small decorations that can be easily carried away.

Also during this same time period, the Sheriff’s Office investigated an incident where a large sign was thrown through the rear window of a parked vehicle in the neighborhood.
