Special Props Go Out To Salisbury Christian School Students

I wanted to take a moment to thank States Attorney Davis Ruark and the Students from the Salisbury Christian School who took their Saturday and hung out in the cold to ring the bells at the Fruitland WalMart from 9 to 5 today for the Salvation Army.

There are so many special people and groups that have volunteered and we'll eventually get to them when we get closer to Christmas. In the mean time, thank you so much. We are filling in the open slots like there's no tomorrow now. There's not that many left so if YOU want your group or company promoted for volunteering don't waste any time signing up.

Remember, you can always sign up as a friend of the Salvation Army too.

I'll only say this about, ahem, Davis Ruark, if he stays out ringing that bell for 24 hours a day through now until all of January, feeling the bite of the bitter cold, well, then I just might let him off...like, ahem, the processes of justice treated him so differently than the rest of us.

Another crime swept under the rug, powdered up pretty, and perfumed enough to GAG.

Davis and the kids doing some good, way to go guys. Feeling good through giving is the way we turn it all around.

No doubt Davis benefited from his position during his brush with the law. Better to just move on. It's over and at least he's doing something useful to benefit the community. Does anyone know if it's part of his plea agreement?

Tidewaterbound, I could not have said it better. The hypocrisy stinks really bad over at the SA office.

The Optimist Club of Salisbury covered the Grocery entrance at the Fruitland Walmart for the entire week.

I wrote a comment for this blog yesterday and I guess I was sensored because of my comments of self "back patting" for credit of what has been done.I was taught that a deed done anonymously is far better than those done for credit.Humility and all.
