Once again Ladies & Gentlemen, pictures don't lie. Mayor Tilghman has been in Office for more than 10 years and it really doesn't matter where you go throughout the City, sidewalks, curbs and street paving has NOT been on her priority list, even though you the taxpayer are paying increased taxes and getting nothing in return.
Oh sure, for the new person moving into a new development it's great! You get all the benefits of fine living at your expense. This mentality and leadership needs to stop and only you can make that happen. If you want more of the same crap, Gary Comegys will announce his running for Mayor on the 12th of November and you can show your support for him.
If you're tired of the same old crap, as I see it at this moment, Jim Ireton is the man of choice to run the City of Salisbury. Comegys would be nothing but more of the same old Tilghman crap.
Obama is going to have one hell of a time getting America back on track and so will the Mayor's replacement. It won't happen overnight. However, change needs to happen first and then we can look towards a much brighter future ahead.
Could you just imagine how much my phone would ring off the hook if I invited everyone to call me to come out and take pictures of this same kind of damage throughout the city in front of every one's homes and businesses. Please, don't do that. I think everyone gets the idea with these photos alone. Mayor Tilghman has run this City into the ground and simply forgot who she was supposed to be taking care of.
I truly challenge that Idiot to run again just to let her feel how the majority of Citizens can't stand her. Do you know my worst fear though. Once she's no longer in Office we're going to be subjected into seeing her out and about in shorts and bra less and that just makes me sick.

Hopefully, once she's no longer mayor no one will notice her out in public, no matter what she's wearing, or not wearing.
(Please wear a bra out in public, Barrie, you're way too old and affected too much by gravity to go "without". Even if you're not the mayor anymore, you're still a middle-age+ woman).
Why should we trust Ireton whose ideology is far to the left, to do any better, fiscally speaking, than Tilghman.
maybe the next mayor will finally resmooth and asphalt Division Street from the Library, northward to the Government Office Building. That road is atrocious.
My brother in law lives behind the old Dimension X building and his sidewalks are crumbling like there's no tomorrow. They have never been fixed. Also he was sent a letter saying that he had to kill the weeds in them or he was going to get a FINE!!!
Are we sure that Salisbury isn't getting ready for some cross country race where hurdles are to be jumped? Looks that way to me.:)
It is obvious that Barrie is not doing her job. What is not clear, is what does she actually DO? Does anyone know???

i drove by feldmans today, monday, and the sign in the wondow facing mill street said OPEN and there were people in there. Didnt know they could fix up and clean up that quick? Didnt see the roof repaired unless it is some new and quick that can be done over nite?
The paper was boasting about the East Prong, look at Joe's pictures above. The area around Anchorage Nursing Home, Ramada, across the canel it's a wreck there too. They can't maintain the East Prong right? So lets build another? Oh God give me strength.
8:09 a.m.,if you've ever heard Ireton speak at these meetings, you'd know he's better than Tilghman, fiscally speaking. National politics and party affiliation have nothing to do with the local level. Look at Louweasel, the Republican who said she wasn't aligned with anybody but the taxpayer. She, along with Gary=Barrie Comegys, have supported Tilghman on everything she wants.
