Jedi this very thing ran through my mind this morning as I awoke. Now that we have the "can't we all get along" people running the country surely we can all share a coke.
Obama is the president elect today. I'll wait a year to see if everyone is still happy.

People have been complaining about the past 8 years his popularity is at 20% what does that tell you. But you should remember, George Bush did not put us in this situation all by himself, it took congress as well. Everyone talks about McCain voting with Bush 90% of the time, well at least everyone knows where he stands, what did Obama vote most of the time, oh yeah, "PRESENT" and Binden voted with Bush 70% of the time, pretty high number for a democrat wouldn't you say. And for you to call everyone who is not happy with the the results a racist, grow up. Me not voting for Obama had nothing to do with him being black.
Oh and to tell us to move to Canada, real mature just like the rest of your comments.
Unfortunately this isn't entirely in jest. He did comment about the National Anthem being offensive to many throughout the world with the "bombs bursting through air" and all. That's why he didn't honor the Anthem and preferrred that it be something more upbeat like "I'd like to teach the world to sing" Personally, I don't want to see the Coke jingle ruined.
In the United States of America the people have spoken. This is a MANDATE for change.
For some reason (birds of a feather flock together?) many of the commenters, and all of the contributors of this blog are of the mindset that "unless you're a narrow-minded mean spirited republican like me, you're stupid".

Well in case you didn't know the economy goes in cycles just about every ten years no matter who is in office. So it really doesn't matter whether or not Obama does anything it will turn around again as it always does. As for change everybody voted for Bush for eight years because they needed a change from Clinton. Now the democrats would have won even if a monkey ran on the demcratic ticket He does sort of resemble a monkey just look at those ears. Anyway you probably will get a change but it may not be for the better. How many other presidents did the president of Iran send his congrats too. Yeah thats right none of them. Obama is in bed with the muslim nations as he is a muslim. Also with the terrorist nations so why do we need a military at all. it will not take him long to cut our military down to nothing so they can take over without firing a shot. The antichrist comes to mind when I think of Obama. Read revelations a great speaker and everyone will believe a lie. I know I am going to catch hell for that one but we will see what happens in the next four years. Go ahead hit me with all that racist bullshit you love to blame everything on. But really I am just an all american red blooded
