You have to tip your hat to President Elect Obama. There are many challenges ahead and if there's one thing that's more important than any other time in this United States of America, we must all stand together to get through the many challenges we face.
The day has come where America has finally grown to the point where we finally have a Black President and that in itself shows just how much we've grown. For those of you who are bitter, change is always difficult to accept but we deal with that every day of our lives and this presidency will prove we are the greatest Nation on Earth.

Can I just ask how anyone can argue Harris is the candidate who cares about the Shore? 100% of Eastern Shore counties went for Kratovil, every one of them decisively. It's not over and I know Harris may win, but if so we have Baltimore County and Harford County to thank. Just look at the results.

When I went to the voter station, i seen many black people there and they were all talking about Obama. I think it is a shame when the country decides a president on weather he is white black or has something hanging between his legs.
Ask yourself this, what would we have done had the entire country lost their eyesight for the election and no one had a clue if the guy/girl was white/black/mexican/chinese/japanese. It needs to be decided on who is the best to run our country.

I had a nice talk with my son this morning about the greatness of America, winning and losing, the difference of opinion and respect for the office of the President, not to mention the fact that this IS history.

Joe that was well said. I agree we as a nation have to move forward. It has no bearing the race he is. That is not the point of being President, although I think that was the reason many voted for him. It is something that was voted and we now move forward to make USA a better one.

I have never been so ashamed of my fellow americans and this country. To elect a man with so many negative affiliations and suspicions surrounding him and his beliefs is unbelievable. He has threatened our national security and has plans to change the very fabric of our culture. John McCain has given so much to this country and never waivered from his love of the USA. This man and his wife have openly shown their disrespect of the flag and the constitution. America should hang their heads in shame and plan for the end of this country as they knew it. We will be challenged and we will suffer damage in my belief. CHANGE. Oh yah! You'll get change and it won't be good. You elected him and now you can deal with him.
