"Hey Joe,
Wanted to let you know that a family saw Shelby on your site and came and adopted her! Yay! Hopefully the first of many! Thank you so much for your help!
Linda"
Remember Folks, there are quite a bit of animals looking for a wonderful home here in Wicomico County. Thank You so much for adopting this animal and viewing Salisbury News.

I need good headlines like this these days-my day started going downhill around 7 a.m...... We adopted a shepherd mix from Dor. County a few years ago and it is a family gift that keeps on giving. Hopefully someone will take the little yellow lab I saw recently here a chance...{If I could trade the wife for the dog and a couple first round draft picks...well, now you know why I post as reese bobby!!}
Poor Linda. I'd bet the Mayor and Comegys are calling her right now because of her connection with Joe.
One thing I always heard from Joe is, it's about the animals. I hope they remember that. Great work guys.
I don't EVEN care about the politics/connection....one of these loving animals (they are more loyal than any human you will meet on the streeet these days)has a new home/family, and a family has the best security system you could ever provide (that isn't 12 gauge). BTW the yellow lab I recently saw was "Shelby" on the Oct. 16th page...my current dog is sleeping so I must type quietly, but a lab like that is the best new family member you could ever care to have!!
Woo Hoo!!! Shelby was such a cutie when I saw her on here. I just hope that every one of those babies gets adopted! If our 95 pound 4-legged juvenile deliquent wasn't such a handful, I would want another one! I wouldn't trade him for the world, though.
not the ones in the GOB place anon 12:59
BTW...yellow lab is named "Shiloh" if I said "Shelby" in post earlier....I have had a long day and have already used a lot of words on the phone that start with "SH--" (and sometimes end with "head.")
That is awesome sounds like it was a great idea to start advertising the animals on here :)
Nothing like a little team work for these animals :)
I have 2 real live "pound puppiea" and they are a joy (most of the time). One was about 2 and abused before we got him, the other was less then a year old with a lot of "puppy" left in him. They keep the house lively and everyday let us know how wonderful they think we are for adopting them. The Humane society is much cheaper then a "pet mill" and are vet checked and nutered before being adoptable and are "ID chipped" as well.
GREAT JOB JOE, You're to be congradulated for what you're doing for the animals!!!! By the
way whos idea was it to post
the adoptions on your site, yours
or the Humane Society ? I know
they use to advertise, but stopped.
Why was that anyway??Anxious to
hear your reply.
Regardless, keep it going!!!
great news! alot better than the national and local front. glad to see something good happen instead of all the GREED.
Kudos Joe, if I had room I'd take them all. I have two refuges myself and they are great house dogs. I doubt Linda cares what Gary and Barry think. That is not only the "Wicomico" Humane Society, I would put money down that Linda could kick both their butts at the same time~!
It was smart of Linda to use a free forum to increase adoptions. Thanks also go to Joe for using his blog to help, it makes me happy to know these animals are going to good homes.
