Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On September 11, 2008 at approximately 5:11 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department arrested the below listed suspect after a routine records check on the suspect revealed that he was wanted in the State of Connecticut. The suspect was arrested without incident, and was charged as a fugitive from Connecticut.

ARRESTED: Perry Drew Molock, 46 years of age Eden, Maryland

CHARGES:
Fugitive from Connecticut:
Second degree strangulation
Unlawful restraint
Assault
Interfering with 9-1-1 calls
Threats
Harassment

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800034298

On September 11, 2008 at approximately 3:10 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Smith St. and Maryland Avenue, when they observed the below listed suspect acting in a suspicious manner. As the officers attempted contact, the suspect fled from the area on foot. The officers were able to locate and apprehend the suspect. During the foot chase, the suspect attempted to discard three (3) small baggies, which were collected, and found to contain a quantity of suspected crack/cocaine.

ARRESTED: Larry Donnell McCarter, 29 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

Possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute
Possession of cocaine
Possession of cds/paraphernalia
Trespassing

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800034349

On September 12, 2008 at approximately 4:20 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department arrested the below listed suspect for a burglary that occurred at Lombardi’s restaurant earlier this month. Detectives from the Salisbury Police have identified the suspect as responsible for the theft of a vehicle, then using that vehicle to respond to Lombardi’s for the purpose of the burglary. The stolen property was not recovered.

ARRESTED: Alexander Heppner Pettis, 19 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Second degree burglary
Fourth degree burglary
Malicious destruction of property
Theft (under $ 100)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800033603

On September 12, 2008 at approximately 10:38 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Waverly Drive and South Boulevard and observed a vehicle being operated by the below listed suspect commit a traffic offense. The vehicle was stopped, and officers observed a quantity of suspected marijuana inside of the vehicle in plain view. A further check of the suspect revealed a quantity of suspected ecstasy on his person.

ARRESTED: Eric Steven Parkinson, 19 years of Delmar, Maryland

CHARGES:
Possession of marijuana
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia w/intent to distribute
Possession of ecstasy

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800034494

On September 14, 2008 at approximately 5:30 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to a residence on Jenkins Lane for the report of a trespasser. Upon arrival, the officers met with the victim who advised that the below listed suspect refused to leave her property. When advised that he had to leave the suspect became loud and refused to comply with the officer’s requests.

ARRESTED: Lamar Steven Jones, 26 years of age Fruitland, Maryland

CHARGES:
Trespassing
Disobeying a lawful order
Disorderly conduct
Obstructing and hindering an investigation
Resisting arrest
