Congressional Candidate Andy Harris Visits Salisbury AGAIN

Senator Andy Harris was out early this morning waving signs with supporters across the street from the Gordy Tiger Mart on Rt. 50. Obviously it was making a difference because the post below shows no cars pumping gas and the third photo only shows one car pumping gas. The Shore loves Andy and they should. I'm sure Kratovil will pop out of nowhere towards the end and say how much he loves Salisbury but the reality is, Andy is here all the time and he's ready and willing to take any of your questions and give truthful answers, not simply what you want to hear.

Andy will be visiting Farmer's today as well as the young Chamber of Commerce Members. It's refreshing to see someone working for your vote and asking for your support.

will we see him if he is elected? Will he care so much about the shore as he seems to do now? Or will he be another one across the bridge. love him or hate him at least he is here asking for support

Andy is reputed to be one of the best in the Senate at constituent service. Of course he is going to be down here. He has repeated again and again that he represents the ENTIRE district. Many people in Salisbury have thrown their support behind him, as they realize he is going to be great for the 1st District!

He is rtying to prove that an outsider understands the Shore. Guess what--buying a house in Cambridge doesn't cut it--he has only recently discovered the Eastern Shore when he decided he wanted to be elected. I'm voting for the guy who really knows the shore, Kratovil.

I think he is from Baltimore County which is much more conservative than Kratovils hometown in Prince Georges County.

Saw him this morning , nice to see him out waving , really getting a response from the people passing by. He's got my vote , who's he running against? Never mind , who cares.

Out of curiousity, Joe, are you making an effort to document when Frank Kratovil is down here? I know that you probably don't have as good of a relationship with the Kratovil folks as you do with the Harris folks, but do you receive work about Kratovil's appearances and try to post them here?

I'm asking because I'm getting the impression from this blog and other things I'm involved with that Harris is down here a lot more than Kratovil. I'm trying to figure out if I'm just not getting word of Kratovil's Salisbury appearances or if he really isn't around here as much as Harris.

anonymous 11:18,

When I'm invited to go to an event, such as the Democratic Crab Fiest and he's not there, HELLOOOO!

So what you are saying, Joe, is that while Harris is down here weekly it seems that Kratovil maybe makes it once a month or so? I think that speaks volumes about Harris's commitment to the Shore.

To 11:10 -- Kratovil only discovered the Shore when he wanted to run for State's Attorney. He's from Prince George's County and he lives in Stevensville, which is barely over the Bridge. It seems that he wants to say he's from the Shore and yet live in a town that's essentially a suburb of Annapolis.

The Democratic crab feast conflicted with another, previously scheduled event on Kratovil's calendar, so he sent his proxy instead. What's the issue?

He didn't send a proxy.

Tell me though, other than the event I did cover when he was in town last, weeks ago with Gilchrest, you don't see Kratovil posted anywhere because he doesn't give a sh!t about the shore, plain and simple. He thinks he's a shoe in and you're wrong.

I had the opportunity to meet Andy Harris today. He attended an event at Christ United MC that hundreds attended. It was really nice meeting the Mr. Harris and I made my decision that I will vote for him. I've been watching the ads on TV but today it was wonderful to meet the real person. He will represent our area much better than the last one.
