SPD Press Release

On August 14, 2008 at approximately 1:10 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Sears Department store in reference to three (3) shoplifters. Upon arrival, the officers met with store security who advised that the below listed three (3) suspects had been observed attempting to remove clothing from the store without making any attempts at payment. All three (3) were stopped and the clothing was recovered.

ARRESTED #1: Svetlana Condur, 20 years of age Cambridge, Maryland
ARRESTED #2: Olga Babici, 25 years of age Cambridge, Maryland
ARRESTED #3: Ava Vidrasco, 23 years of age Cambridge, Maryland

CHARGES: All charged with theft (under $ 500)
DISPOSITION: All released to Central Booking CC # 200800030069

Editors Note: Still nothing on the Home Invasion and or the Murder of the prostitute weeks ago. Instead, this is what the citizens get. Hardly worth posting and certainly not the reality of serious crime in Salisbury.

Just listened to the mayor and the CHIEF on WBOC and am happy to let everyone know that everything about the city including crime is BETTER THAN IT WAS EIGHT YEARS AGO when the chief arrived.

I might add that it is prerecorded unlike Bill Reddish's interviews with council members.

They (SPD) must be very proud of this collar. I know I'm proud for them.
Meanwhile, who's watching out for the pot smokers?
