Question of the Day, Fri 6/20

Today is "Take your dog to work" day. I take one of my dogs to work with me everyday.

Do you take your dog to work with you? If you can't, would you if you could?

I would love take my little man to work; however he doesn't like loud noises and I work with diesel engines...

I am allowed to bring my dog to work, and did, but unfortunately he still has a lot of "puppy" in him and he gets in too much mischief. Once he gets a little older, and calms down, he will come back to work everyday and "earn his keep". Our customers always ask where he is and can't wait for him to come back to work. BTW he's a 95lb. Yellow Lab who loves people.

Would take my dog with me every day if I could. Would love to have a jog that would allow that.

If people crate trained their dogs at work, put them on a schedule, and taught them manners there should be no reason why they couldn't go to work with anybody. I know the health dept wouldn't allow it with the food svc establishments, but it would certainly make much more socialized pets. As for 9:24, your little man would get use to the noise. I knew a backhoe operator that had his little man run the back hoe with him, went to work every day. 10:51, if the dog was dirty and stinky I would understand not liking it. Joe, not everybody takes care of their pets like we do, or train them either, so it could be good and it could be bad. I know that wasn't the question, so yes, when I went to my Salon everyday, I usually had one or two of my dogs with me(getting their spa day!) Cathy-Jo
