Camp ESPA is a great program. Every single expense comes from 100% donations and all of the volunteers that work so hard there do so without depending on government subsidies.

My nieces hubby is a Delaware State Trooper, he's been helping contribute to the effort for as long as I can remember.

Kudos to all that help enrich these young people's lives and enjoy quality time in a team player type atmosphere.

Brings back memories Joe.In the early 70s we used to take prisoners from Poplar Hill on weekends to clean up the grounds, help do cooking, repair any equipment we could and keep the place in top shape. Poplar hill supervisor at the time was Phillip Elliot and he totaly believed in that area for the kids. We had kids that had never seen a camp site. They loved it. Hardhead

I heard one of the B.O.D. absconded with a lot of their money, sold his house and moved to NC. I never read anything in the local press about it so I don't know how true it might be.
